1. General Disclaimer
JudoTournament is provided "as is", without any warranty of completeness, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the services is entirely at your own risk.
2. Platform Availability
Availability:
JudoTournament is provided as reliably as possible. We offer maximum support to organizers during preparation and on match days. However, no guarantee can be given for 100% availability or uptime. In cases of force majeure (power outage, internet failure, server outage), we cannot be held liable for interruptions.
Reasons for interruption may include:
- Technical maintenance and updates
- Server outage or technical problems
- Internet problems (provider, DNS, routing)
- DDoS attacks or security incidents
- Force majeure (power outage, natural disasters)
3. Internet and Server Problems During Tournaments
Havun is NOT liable for any damage, delay, or disruption to your tournament resulting from internet, server, or software issues. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of internet connection at the tournament venue
- Server outage or slow response times
- Software errors or unexpected behavior
- Data loss due to technical failures
- Problems with real-time synchronization between devices
We strongly recommend installing a local server on the local network for each tournament as a hot standby. This ensures the tournament can continue in case of internet failure.
See the Local Server Guide for installation instructions.
Always maintain a paper backup administration as an ultimate fallback. Before the tournament starts, print the following documents via the Emergency Plan in the platform:
- Pool layouts per block
- Weigh-in lists
- Match schedules (blank forms)
- Venue overview (mat distribution)
- Contact list (coaches, referees)
The Emergency Plan also contains an offline package that you can download as a standalone HTML file.
4. Data Loss & Backups
Risk of data loss:
Although we make daily backups, we cannot guarantee that data will always be preserved.
Advice:
Regularly export important tournament data (results, participant lists) via the export functions in the platform.
JudoTournament is not liable for data loss, regardless of the cause.
5. Results, Classifications & Pool Layouts
The platform automatically calculates classifications (age categories, weight classes), pool layouts, and match schedules. Although we strive for accuracy:
- The organizer is responsible for verifying all automatic calculations
- The organizer is responsible for compliance with JBN regulations
- Havun is not liable for incorrect classifications or layouts
- Manual adjustments by the organizer are always possible and recommended
6. Payments
Payments are processed via Mollie. Havun is not responsible for:
- Outages at the payment provider (Mollie)
- Failed or delayed payments
- Disputes between the organizer and participating clubs regarding registration fees
7. Limitation of Liability
JudoTournament (Havun) is not liable for:
- Direct or indirect damage from use of the service
- Loss of data or tournament results
- Interruption of the tournament due to technical problems
- Damage from internet, server, or software problems
- Errors in automatic calculations
- Unauthorized access to accounts
Maximum liability is in all cases limited to the amount you have paid for the specific tournament, and applies exclusively for the period from payment until the conclusion of that tournament (preparation and match day).
